When combined with the Las Vegas Aces vs Phoenix Mercury nightcap, opening night averaged 1.28 million viewers – a staggering 192% increase from last year’s ESPN regular season average.
The WNBA has been steadily building momentum, fueled by an influx of marketable young stars like Clark and added broadcast exposure. Interest will surely be high again for this marquee early-season rematch in Indiana.
