BALTIMORE – Just when you thought Baltimore’s Federal Hill couldn’t get any quieter after the Ravens squeaked past Washington 30-23, one Ravens fan took it upon himself to bring a little extra post-game action to the streets. In a scene that’s already making rounds on social media faster than a Lamar Jackson scramble, a man sporting the iconic number 8 Ravens jersey, apparently allergic to losing or basic civility, went full gladiator on two unsuspecting Washington Commanders fans.
The viral 20-second clip, now the new hotness of Football Twitter, opens with the Ravens fan, face in full view and evidently unbothered by the prospect of police involvement, walking up to two Commanders fans like he’s about to give them directions to the nearest bar. Nope. Without warning, it was on. This wasn’t your average “we-just-beat-your-team” smack talk. This was a haymaker of “I’m going to wallop you back to Washington” with a side of kicks and shoves for good measure.
Sources say the altercation occurred on Cross Market Street, close to the historic market itself – perfect for when you want to grab a sandwich and witness a street fight. The unlucky victims of the Ravens superfan’s wrath had the audacity to wear Commanders gear in public, which apparently was all it took to spark this WWE audition.
The best part? After unleashing the fury of a man who clearly takes his football too seriously, the attacker decided to rub some salt in the wound with the mic drop moment of: “I’m not losing!” Well, buddy, you might not have lost the game, but you definitely just lost at adulthood.
Despite the fact that our hero/villain didn’t bother with a mask or the standard criminal precaution of not broadcasting your face to millions, the local police are apparently still working on identifying the man. Rumor has it that some social media detectives have already tagged him as “John Callis,” but if you’ve got an alibi, you might want to update it now.
To make things even weirder, while millions have already seen this clip, police have confirmed that no formal complaint has been made yet. Either the Commanders fans are still trying to process how they got wrecked by someone who watches too much football, or they’ve decided to take the high road and just delete all their Commanders merch from existence.
