In a world where Caitlin Clark can net $600,000 from a couple of webinars, it’s safe to say she’s not just winning on the court but off it too. The 2024 No. 1 overall pick has been busy showing everyone she’s not just a WNBA sensation but also a highly-paid keynote speaker with a knack for charming the LinkedIn crowd. If you thought Clark’s jump shot was lethal, wait until you hear her keynote fees—$100,000 per pop for showing up, whether virtually or in-person. That’s some serious three-point range in the speaking circuit!

Apparently, Clark’s been busy lately, not only leading the Indiana Fever to their first respectable season in years (thank you very much, 20-20 record) but also attending various conferences that have nothing to do with basketball. She’s been booked for a wild array of events, from cardiovascular research summits (yes, you read that right) to women’s leadership panels, showing that when you’re a superstar, you can discuss anything with authority—even arteries.

One LinkedIn attendee, Kerri Jenkins, called Clark a “powerhouse” after sitting in on a marketing webinar. Jenkins gushed about Clark’s wisdom, which included gems like, “Failure is part of success,” and “Academics come before athletics.” She didn’t mention if Clark also dropped any pro tips on her killer crossover or how to make a perfect buzzer-beater, but I guess those are reserved for the hardwood.

And it seems like people are happy to pay the price for those motivational nuggets. According to a LinkedIn post by Don A. Steinbrugge, Clark raked in $600,000 from just two webinars and four in-person appearances. With this kind of side hustle, maybe Clark should teach a masterclass on making money—because clearly, the ball’s in her court.

As if her paycheck wasn’t enough, Clark was just featured on the cover of Time magazine’s “Inspiring Women” edition. She shares the spotlight with none other than Serena Williams and Taylor Swift—both icons in their own right, but do they have a $100K LinkedIn rate? I didn’t think so.

On the court, Clark’s star shines just as bright. Last season, she averaged 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game, helping the Fever rise from a 1-9 start to finish with a solid sixth seed. Not too shabby for a rookie who clearly knows how to juggle being both a basketball phenom and a corporate darling.

So while most of us are over here struggling to send out coherent LinkedIn messages, Caitlin Clark’s out there pulling in more cash than many CEOs—by just showing up and dropping some motivational quotes. Her impact is just getting started, and honestly, we’re all just lucky to be witnessing this marketing genius unfold. After all, why sweat it out in the gym when you can earn six figures simply by talking about success?
