Prince Harry Confidante: Palace Lied About Kate’s Health? Friend of Sussexes Makes Shocking Claim

HomeEntertainmentPrince Harry Confidante: Palace Lied About Kate's Health? Friend of Sussexes Makes...

Just minutes after Kensington Palace released a heartbreaking video announcing Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis, a close friend of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stoked controversy by accusing the royal family of lying and likening the announcement to “North Korean propaganda.”

Christopher Bouzy, a 48-year-old tech entrepreneur, took to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) in a fiery post that quickly drew backlash from royal supporters and critics alike. “The palace lied, and the British press happily helped them lie,” Bouzy alleged, referring to the somber video depicting the Princess of Wales discussing her health battle.

Bouzy didn’t hold back, doubling down by stating, “This is really some North Korea / Trumpian type of propaganda.” His inflammatory comments came mere moments after the video surfaced online, igniting a firestorm of reactions from those both defending and condemning the royals.

At the crux of Bouzy’s assertions is a belief that the images and footage of Kate in recent months have been faked or doctored, with the Princess potentially using a body double. “I am sorry to hear Kate has cancer, and I hope she has a full recovery. But it is also clear that all three earlier photos of her were fake, and the palace tried to cover it up,” he wrote.

This incendiary claim alleging royal deceit has been echoed by others like BBC reporter Sonja McLaughlan, who stated it was “clearly not” Kate in a recent video showing her shopping with Prince William. “It’s so obviously not Kate. Some newspapers are reporting it as fact. But it’s not her. No conspiracy theorist but all very odd,” McLaughlan wrote.

However, many have been quick to condemn and dismiss these allegations as baseless and insensitive conspiracy theories. Royal experts and fans have rallied behind Kate, slamming Bouzy’s comments as “despicable” and “beneath contempt.”

“She is a mother to young children, a wife, a daughter, a sister. She is a damned human being who should not be hounded at the darkest time in her life,” one outraged commenter fired back at Bouzy.

Another accused him of being “beyond vile” for “comparing a cancer-stricken mother” to the likes of former President Trump and North Korea’s state propaganda.

The Backlash Intensifies

The backlash against Bouzy has only intensified in the days following his inflammatory statements. The CEO, who appeared in Prince Harry and Meghan’s 2022 Netflix documentary providing commentary on the couple’s rift with the royals, has continued to share video comparisons and analyses purportedly “proving” recent appearances by Kate were faked.

“I’ve compiled a few older videos of William and Kate walking together, as well as the recent video from Windsor Farm Shop. Take a look and decide for yourself if it’s Kate or not. In my opinion, we still haven’t seen Kate in public,” Bouzy wrote, attaching numerous clip comparisons.

He went on to question why the Princess has not immediately resumed royal duties if she’s well enough for public outings like the one captured at the Windsor farm shop.

These persistent claims from Bouzy and his allies have struck a nerve with not just the royal family’s staunchest supporters, but those simply expressing basic human empathy for Kate’s plight. Accusations of faking a cancer diagnosis to preserve optics or mislead the public have been widely decried as not only ridiculous, but utterly insensitive to a young mother facing a real health crisis.

Royal Sources Respond

While Kensington Palace has not directly responded to Bouzy’s specific statements, royal insiders have pushed back against the whirlwind of misinformation and conspiracy theories. Sources told The Post that releasing the Windsor video was intended to “put an end to the outside noise about her recovery” and the speculation swirling around her condition.

Additionally, royal sources confirmed to The Times UK that in the aftermath of the palace announcing Kate’s diagnosis, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle found out about the devastating news just like the rest of the public – through news reports and the video itself.

“It is understood that Kate’s cancer diagnosis was not shared in advance with Harry and Meghan,” the outlet reported, noting “several sources confirm that there were no such conversations and it is thought Harry found out about Kate’s diagnosis from television, at the same time as the public.”

This revelation undercuts any notion of close coordination between the Sussexes and the royals over carefully crafted narratives, instead suggesting the two sides remain very much operating independently and at arms-length.

As Kate continues her treatment and recovery, these latest conspiracy claims look to be little more than the latest distraction and point of controversy in the ongoing royal soap opera between Prince Harry’s camp and that of his estranged family. For the Princess of Wales, however, the focus remains squarely on restoring her health and being present for her loving husband and three young children during an unimaginably challenging time.

Only time will tell if reason and compassion can drown out the noise of baseless rumors and outrageous claims of royal duplicity around her cancer battle. But as Kate has shown through her poise and strength, she and her family appear determined to face this head-on without being derailed by outside controversies and distractions.
