In a unique celebration of International Women’s Day, an all-female owned business in Dallas is providing free professional headshots today. Wildlike, a trendy piercing and jewelry salon located on Oak Lawn Avenue, has enlisted a professional photographer to capture empowering new portraits for anyone interested.
The special complimentary headshot event runs from 4pm to 6pm this afternoon on a first-come, first-served basis. No purchase is necessary – the shop is welcoming walk-ins from the community to mark the annual occasion honoring women’s achievements globally.
“We wanted to do something meaningful for International Women’s Day that uplifts and celebrates individuals in an authentic way,” said Wildlike co-owner Sasha Graham. “A polished headshot can make a huge difference on a LinkedIn profile or resume, but professional photo shoots can be really pricey. This is our small way of empowering others to put their best selves out there.”
Rather than adhering to conservative headshot norms, Wildlike is encouraging participants to showcase their uniqueness. The salon is welcoming individuals to be themselves – no need to cover tattoos, piercings or natural hairstyles.
“We’re all about self-expression and breaking down outdated societal constraints,” explained Graham’s business partner, Riley Jones. “By providing this free headshot opportunity, we hope it inspires others to confidently embrace who they are, both personally and professionally.”
