A low-cost 4G smartphone using the Snapdragon 680 SoC is the Moto G42. The gadget has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage in a single storage option. The storage can be increased with a microSD card up to 1TB.
Plastic makes up the rear panel, which helps to maintain the weight to around 175 grammes. Motorola has improved the phone’s water splash resistance sufficiently for it to receive an IP52 grade.
A 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution is included on the gadget. It sports a 20:9 aspect ratio and a typical 60Hz refresh rate. The front camera has a hole-punch cutout in the upper centre.
On the back of the Moto G42, there is a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. It also contains a 2MP macro sensor in addition to an 8MP ultrawide camera. In India, the Moto G42 costs Rs 13,999. Customers with an SBI card are eligible for a discount of Rs 1,000 as part of the launch promotions, lowering the final cost to Rs 12,999. Jio perks of Rs 2,549 are also available for the Rs 419 plan. Atlantic Green and Metallic Rose are the two colours available for the Moto G42.
