The first telecom company to formally launch 5G services in India is Airtel. The Airtel 5G Plus service has now been made available in 8 cities by one of the largest telecom providers in the nation. Reliance Jio is also launching 5G service in 4 cities right now, including Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Varanasi. Until the firm publishes 5G plans in India, Reliance Jio is offering qualified consumers a free 1 Gbps broadband speed and unlimited 5G data through its Jio 5G Welcome Offer.

What exactly is Airtel 5G Plus? Airtel 5G Plus is what Bharti Airtel is calling its 5G service, which is identical to Jio Welcome Offer. Airtel’s 5G services are now being rolled out in 8 cities, although for the time being, just a few people can get the service. Airtel said this week at the India Mobile Congress (IMC) in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, that it would soon begin rolling out 5G services in additional cities. Sunil Mittal, CEO of Bharti Enterprises, underlined that the pan-India rollout will not be finished until March 2024.
