Right now, you can download Android 13 beta 3.1 to your phone.
Android 13 Beta 3.1 is presently available for download. Google released the third public beta version of its software last week, then two days later released a point release to correct a bug.
Safety First: Is it safe to download the Android 13 beta?
The Android 13 beta is more polished than the Android 13 developer preview, but there may still be problems that make using your phone more challenging. If you’re prepared to deal with these problems or if your device is a backup for your primary phone, then only download the Android 13 beta. Additionally, before installing the Android 13 beta, be sure to backup your smartphone in case something goes wrong or you decide to discontinue the program later.
Anything you use should be regarded as an early preview and not necessarily the final version of Android 13 since some of the new features that are being developed might not make it there.
What Android models work with the Android 13 beta?
Only a few Pixel smartphones currently support Android 13:
Pixel 4
Pixel 4 XL
Pixel 4A
Pixel 4A (5G)
Pixel 5
Pixel 5A
Pixel 6
Pixel 6 Pro
How to install Android 13 beta on a compatible device?
To get Android 13 beta on your phone, go to the Android Beta for Pixel page on your computer, check if your device is supported, and then enroll in the Android 13 program.
If your phone is supported, it should be listed under Your eligible devices (make sure your phone is charged over 10 percent, or else it may not appear).
You will have the opportunity to opt-in if you have not signed up for the Android 12 beta or Android 13 developer preview. You don’t need to do anything to acquire Android 13 if you’ve already signed up for the aforementioned pre-releases. Your phone should automatically receive an update.
To sign up for the Android 13 beta, first, select Opt-in, then Confirm and enroll after reading the terms and conditions. You should receive a notification stating that your device has been accepted into the Android 13 beta program.
Your phone will then receive an over-the-air update. If you did not receive a notification, click on Settings > System > System update to view your Android 13 update. The OTA update may take up to 24 hours to arrive.
The Android 13 beta will run for how long?
Furthermore, the Android 13 beta program will be extended through June 2023, which means that you will continue to receive beta upgrades until the next beta release unless you opt-out.
